Abstract The present study aims to analyze the socioeconomic and demographic factors associated with recurrence of teenage pregnancy, as well verify association unfavorable maternal neonatal outcomes. It is a cross-sectional study, based on data from “Nascer no Brasil”, comprised adolescent mothers their newborns. Univariate multiple logistic regression were used indicate this recurrence. Recurrence pregnancy was age 17-19 years (OR=3.35; 95%CI=2.45-4.59); an inadequate education for (OR=4.34; 95%CI=3.50-5.39), intention becoming pregnant; residency in state capital; fact that partner head family.
